I've been making Small Crochet "Trinkets" with Hanging Loops for years - some are used as Hanging Decorations - some have been used for Jewelry Pendants on Chokers or Necklaces - here are a couple available in my RSS Designs In Fiber Etsy Shop:

I find that Thread Crochet makes some very nice Decor or Decorations for the Holidays, whether it is for Holiday Tables - or for all kinds of Decorations!
