I've been crocheting for Valentine's Day since I started doing Thread and Yarn Crochet and Knitting to Sell - about 17-18 years ago - like the Fiesta Red Irish Crochet Heart with White Pearls - a Beaded Crochet Heart - that is in my Etsy Shop!

But this Year I was inspired to do more by Cathy Morgan of Crafting Memories when she sponsored a "Valentine Crochet Along or Knitting Along" on her Blog!

My Handmade That Sparkles - With Beads or Metallic Fibers

Since the mid-2000's I've been doing Artistic Fine Thread Crochet -- and somewhere along the way I discovered a way to add accents to this crochet by crocheting in different kinds of Beads and Metallic Fibers!!  

There are both Decor pieces - and Personal Accessories - some could be either!

Nice for Holidays -- or just for personal celebrations - the Sparkle from Beads or Metallic Threads add something special to these Handmade items!

This is my most recent completed project - a White Irish Crochet Heart made with DMC Pearl Cotton and Small White Pearl Beads:

Spring Floral Crochet Decor By RSS Designs In Fiber - Including Newer Items

In Southern California, a warmer climate, there are Flowers that bloom all year long - though, depending on the exact spot and how cold it has gotten, it can greatly vary what and how much they bloom.  But in Spring, they start blooming more and more - and they are all the Inspiration for the Crochet Flower pieces I make!!

This 14 1/2 Inch Diameter Doily with Shamrocks and the Yellow Flowers that accompany them often usually represents early spring - March - but in Southern California I very often see the "Shamrocks" or "Clover" with or without flowers all year long - when it rains or they are watered, they add a bright green ground cover that I really like!!

Blue Star Lace Table Topper or Centerpiece - 18 Inches Point-to-Point

This Star-Shaped piece in Fine Crochet Lace is large enough to use as a Holiday Table Centerpiece - or as photographed above - a Table Topper on a linen tablecloth.

Blue - in this case a Light Sky Blue - is popular in all kinds of decorating:

Being a Star Shape - it also fits in all kinds of Holiday settings!

If you look closely - it actually has a Star in the center that is in a different pattern, so it looks like a "Star in a Star".
