My Handmade That Sparkles - With Beads or Metallic Fibers

Since the mid-2000's I've been doing Artistic Fine Thread Crochet -- and somewhere along the way I discovered a way to add accents to this crochet by crocheting in different kinds of Beads and Metallic Fibers!!  

There are both Decor pieces - and Personal Accessories - some could be either!

Nice for Holidays -- or just for personal celebrations - the Sparkle from Beads or Metallic Threads add something special to these Handmade items!

The First Section is the Beaded Ones.

This is my most recent completed project - a White Irish Crochet Heart made with DMC Pearl Cotton and Small White Pearl Beads:

This Hand-Crocheted Square Lace Doily has Bright Fiesta Red Flowers in the center of 4 Square White Lace motifs

 - Each Motif has a Bright Fiesta Red Border

 - and they are joined together to make a Square

 - with a White Lace Cluster Doily Border.

The Doily is a 9 1/2 Inch Square.

If you display it as a Diamond Shape - it is 13 1/2 Inches high and wide - Corner-to-Corner.

Bright Fiesta Red is an exciting Red that cheers up a space when used in Decor Accents such as this Doily!!!
